July 17th: Purchased a Carte Avantage Jeune and an International Youth Travel Card (NOTE: I should have waited a little longer, because they went on sale on August 23 for 20 euros cheaper than what I paid 😔); booked hostel for a trip to London I planned for the first weekend of November (during Vacances de la Toussaint)
July 21st: "Mandatory" webinar (but there were many technical difficulties and scheduling conflicts, so a recording was made available afterwards)
July 25th: Booked round-trip planet ticket with Turkish Airlines via Hopper
July 26th: Booked hotel room for first night in Paris (since my flight wasn't scheduled to land until 10:00 PM)
August 23rd: Visa appointment in New York City; received email from my school's Secrétariat Ressources Humaines offering free on-campus housing

August 29th: Received passport with visa via FedEx
September 23rd: Received my collège work schedule via email from my secondary Professeure Référente
September 25th: Flight from Newark Liberty International Airport to layover in Istanbul Airport

October 3rd: Received my lycée work schedule via email from my Professeure Référente; purchased Free Mobile SIM card; validated my visa online
